Fall Trends – My Favorite Fall Products & Projects

Fall is officially here! Every year, I look forward to new fall trends and all the cozy things this season brings. From warm, spiced scents to little everyday comforts, I’ve rounded up a few of my current obsessions that are making autumn feel extra special. Whether it’s an apple cider-inspired snack, a refreshing drink to keep me going, or my go-to snuggly soft crochet projects, these are the things I’m reaching for again and again this season.

Light a candle, grab your fave fall snack, drink, or a cozy project, and let’s get into my Fall Favorites!

A cozy scene with a knitting project, yarn, a fall candle, and cup of tea. Fall Favorites blog post

Fall Snack Favorites

Abe’s Mini Muffins

Abe's vegan allergy-free apple cider donut mini muffins. Favorite fall snacks
Abe's vegan allergy-free pumpkin spice mini muffins. Favorite fall snacks

As a parent of a kid with allergies, our snack options are a lot more limited. I love Abe’s muffins because they’re mostly allergy-free! (Note: they do contain wheat.) Plus, they’re vegan and absolutely delicious. Abe’s Apple Cider Donut and Pumpkin Spice mini muffins have quickly become some of our favorite fall snacks. They also have a Cranberry Orange flavor that I’m dying to try next! You can grab Abe’s products at Whole Foods Market or get them delivered from Thrive Market.

Feel free to use my Thrive Market referral link below to get 40% off your first order!

Snackle box

Fall favorites, snackle box
fall favorites, snackle box, snack container for outdoor movie nights and fall parties

Okay, this isn’t an edible favorite, but just as essential… a container for all of your favorite snacks! I love packing fun, healthy snacks for picnics, outdoor movie nights, get-togethers, or even just lazy nights in. I’m so glad I finally bought these Snackle Boxes because they make it so much easier to pack snacks with all the different compartments. Plus, the removable compartments make it more versatile and easier to clean. These boxes also come in different sizes and colors!

Fall Drink Favorites

Bloom Energy Drinks

Bloom sparkling energy drinks. Fall beverages
Bloom Crisp Apple fall energy drinks

I know everyone is craving their pumpkin spice lattes right now, but I found a new, healthier way to get my caffeine fix this season. Bloom Energy Drinks are my current favorite fall drink, with prebiotics, zero sugar, 180mg of natural caffeine, and only 10 calories per can. I was so excited to discover that these come in 12 packs for only $24.99 since they are normally $2.50-$3 each in stores. The crisp apple flavor is very festive for fall, but it’s in such high demand that it is sometimes completely sold out. Thankfully, all of the other flavors in the variety pack are just as delicious!

OLIPOP Crisp Apple

OLIPOP crisp apple favorite fall drinks
OLIPOP favorite fall drinks, cherry cola
OLIPOP favorite fall drinks, strawberry vanilla.

More apple-flavored fall favorites! Don’t get me wrong, I love pumpkin spice, but this fall I’ve been leaning more toward autumn apple flavors. Olipop Crisp Apple is one of the best fall drink trends, and a good-for-you soda substitute! My other two favorite Olipop flavors that you can never go wrong with are Cherry Cola & Strawberry Vanilla.

Fall Fashion Favorites

Converse low top sneakers

Converse black low top sneakers, fall fashion must haves

Converse low-top sneakers are an absolute must-have this fall. They’re timeless, comfortable, and go with just about everything. They’re the kind of shoes that never go out of style, and I’m here for it! I also hate buying seasonal things that I’ll only use for a few months, so I always look for fall trends that are versatile enough for year-round wear. The classic black low-tops are a wardrobe staple, but if I wanted to get another pair, I think red is a great choice for a bold pop of color.

Aerie Real Me Foldover Super Wide Leg Pant

Aerie viral wide leg pants, cozy fall outfits
fall fashion, Aerie, OFFLINE viral wide leg pants, autumn clothing trends
Aerie, American Eagle viral wide leg pants, fall fashion

These wide-leg pants from Aerie are one of the best fall trends I’ve found this year! I really needed a pair of comfortable pants that aren’t sweatpants or leggings. These are the perfect solution for being comfy but still looking put together. As a mid-size mama, I was worried about how they would fit, but I loved them from the moment I tried them on! They’re flattering in all the right places, you can wear them higher on your waist or lower, and the waistband doesn’t roll down even through all-day wear! Plus, the fabric is buttery soft, flowy, and breathable. I got the Olive Fun color, but I love the “Goddess” burgundy color as well.

Feel free to use my referral link below for 20% off your purchase from Aerie & American Eagle.

IMBŌDHI jumper

Fall fashion essentials, imbodhi jumpsuit
fall wardrobe staples, imbodhi plus size jumpsuit

I’m all about being comfy, and this is my all-time favorite everyday jumpsuit! I’ve had mine for a while now, and it’s held up beautifully through countless washes and adventures—it still feels just as soft and looks just as good as the day I got it. The fact that each one is hand-sewn locally in California makes it even more special. I keep the classic black as a staple in my closet, but they also come in so many gorgeous core and seasonal colors that are on-trend for fall!

You can use my referral link below for $15 off any order from IMBŌDHI.

Fall Cleaning Favorites

Mr.s Meyer’s Apple Cider soaps & spray

Mrs. Meyers fall hand soap, apple cider scent, autumn home essentials
Mrs. Meyers fall cleaning products, apple cider, home cleaning tips

It’s a fact that cleaning with yummy scents will improve your happiness! Mrs. Meyers Apple Cider hand soap, dish soap, and multi-purpose spray are my new fall favorites and autumn cleaning staples. The warm, spiced scent makes my whole home feel cozy while I check things off my to-do list. It’s like bringing a little bit of autumn cheer into everyday chores.

Utopia microfiber towels

Fall kitchen towels, autumn home essentials
Best affordable kitchen towels for fall, fall shopping list

Plain towels might seem boring, but these are exactly what I needed this season! I recently purchased this towel set to replace my smelly, old kitchen towels, and they are perfect. I’ve always loved the idea of getting cute, seasonal towels for my kitchen, but I’m so picky. Everything I find is usually too expensive, or I just don’t like the pattern enough. I went on a search for a set of affordable kitchen towels, and these did not disappoint! I love that they are a generous size, super soft, and the black color is perfect for fall, yet versatile enough for any season.

Fall Crochet Favorites

My free Autumn crochet patterns

Crochet Headbands, free fall crochet pattern, crochet projects for fall

These are some of my go-to fall crochet projects from my pattern collection! The lovely textures and fall themes are perfect for adding a seasonal touch to your home and your style. My Hammada Headwrap, Cinnamon Spice Pumpkins, and Even Moss Stitch Coaster crochet patterns are all available for free right here on my blog!

Nautikrall granny square crochet patterns

Fall crochet projects, granny square blanket
Cozy crochet projects for fall

While I love making granny squares all year round, there is something about whipping up these cozy little squares that seems to embody all of the magic of autumn. They’re the perfect project for curling up in bed with your favorite fall beverage and a binge-worthy TV show. I’ve been loving all of NautiKrall’s cozy blanket and pillow patterns for ages, and I finally decided to make one of my own using her Hygge Burst Blanket Pattern, which you can find for free here! I also linked some of my other favorite fall crochet patterns from NautiKrall’s Etsy shop below!

Fall Kids Favorites

Fall Board Books

You're My Little Pumpkin Pie board book, fall activities for kids
You're My Little Baby Boo Board Book
You're My Little Cutie Pie Board Book

Even though my kids are getting older, we still love these cute, simple fall board books. With adorable pictures, fun cut-outs, sweet rhymes, and festive fall themes, these affordable children’s books are perfect for a quick bedtime story. From the fall equinox to Thanksgiving day, You’re My Little Pumpkin Pie, You’re My Little Baby Boo, and You’re My Little Cutie Pie are our favorite seasonal stories!

Fall Printables

Lately, we’ve been doing a little activity time after dinner, and the kids are loving fall-themed printables! My daughter’s TK teacher suggested Q-tip painting to help with fine motor skills, so I tracked down some cute ones to print, and it’s been such a hit. The kids get so into it, and honestly, it’s the perfect low-prep way to wind down together. I’ve linked a few super affordable, fun fall Q-tip painting pages (plus some other fall activities for kids) below. Pro tip: make sure you’ve got plenty of Q-tips, acrylic paint, and coloring supplies stocked up before you start!

September 🫧 It’s crazy to think that at this poin September 🫧

It’s crazy to think that at this point a few years ago, I had so much drive to be “successful” and now I really just crave a more simple life. I’m happiest when I can disconnect from all the noise, spend time with my family, take a day off work to do something spontaneous, or extend my morning routine a little longer for a good breakfast or an extra few minutes of fresh air.

Most of the time I feel like I’m just getting “lazy” because I don’t have the energy to spend hours working my day job and then grind to run my own business too. But then I remember how carefree life used to be. Sometimes I wish we didn’t have constant connection to everyone else or AI infiltrating every daily task.

When I started my crochet business it was so much fun, creating things with my hands to mail to my customers. Then I started writing patterns and loved that I could actually make money off of an idea that came from my brain. Now I hardly make a few pattern sales per month because the market is flooded with AI rip-offs of real artists’ work.

And my day job is in marketing which is 100% online, looking at a computer screen typically 6-7 days a week since there’s always something that needs to be done. Marketing used to feel like creative work too and now it feels the same… trying to keep up with bots and algorithms, spending endless hours creating campaigns and strategies that you hope will help the business while knowing that the economy is also failing.

Sometimes I feel like my lack of motivation is a failure, but then I remember that we literally weren’t built to live like this. I wasn’t made to sit on a chair and work on a computer for 6-8 hours a day.

I’m on this earth to experience life and I’m going to take every moment I can to feel the sand between my toes and the ocean breeze, explore the world, look at the stars, talk to my kids about the clouds, create things with my hands… stop chasing algorithms and just keep embracing the little moments and memories, trying to feel what life was like before we were connected to every single person and brand 24/7, when we were still allowed to be curious and not have the immediate answer to every question.
August 🎡🍓👟 Despite the back to school chaos and e August 🎡🍓👟

Despite the back to school chaos and everyone getting sick, this past month has been full of new adventures and magical core memories like celebrating one of my best friends beautiful marriage, taking the kids to the fair for the first time, daily morning walks/hikes, and soaking up all the happy little moments 🥂🎠✨

One project that I’ve been excited to work on in my evenings after the kids go to sleep is a new Playdate Tee, pattern by @kneedlesandlife. I loved using the kid’s version of this pattern to make a tee for my daughter, so now I’m using the adult version to make one for myself using CotLin from @knit_picks 🧶

Friendly reminders:
✨ Life is too short to stress over people who don’t value you. Save your energy for those who see you as irreplaceable.
✨ Life is too short to not embrace your inner child. Play games, do puzzles, splash in the water, enjoy the little things.
✨ Life is too short to not make your food fun. Put hot Cheetos on your elote, salt & vinegar chips on your coleslaw, and extra queso on your tacos. 🌮

I had so much fun working up this French Market Bag pattern by @twoofwands and it’s perfect for all of my farmer’s markets finds! 🥖🍋🥕 I made this one using @lionbrandyarn 24/7 Cotton (one of my favorite yarns ever)!

I don’t know about y’all, but with summer break coming to an end, I feel like I’m in some kind of limbo between wanting to bask in the summer sunshine, and getting ready for a cozy fall season 🌻

But I’m still leaning into summer as much as possible because I really don’t want this sunny season to end! So, I’ve been looking to my yarn stash for more summer project inspiration, and I’m loving cotton and linen fibers right now ☀️

If cotton and linen are your thing, or you’re just looking for some lovely new yarns to try, make sure to check my newest blog post for tons of yarn and fiber recommendations that are perfect for summer, and even the early fall days where you can still feel the warmth from the sun while watching leaves fall to the ground with every cozy little breeze 🍂

June ☀️🍦I haven’t crocheted much of anything since June ☀️🍦I haven’t crocheted much of anything since my last market this month. We’ve just been taking summer break day by day, finding balance, and enjoying the little things, like throwing our own little pickle party at the pool, picking flowers on walks, coloring cute pictures, and of course the mandatory egg sandwich 🥒💐🍄🥪

And while I’ve been trying better to document all of our adventures, I still just can’t seem to get the hang of snapping pictures while I’m just loving living in the moment. Like when I spent the whole day at Magic Mountain with my bestie and forgot to take photos, but at least I got a pic of our parking space so we wouldn’t get lost in the parking lot again like we did last year 😂🤭

I’ll be adding keychains to these cuties too! While I love making these in a “plushie” size as well, the mini keychain versions sell very well for me, and I definitely recommend making them for your markets, (or for yourself)! 🗝️
