Coffee Cup Cozy – Free Crochet Pattern

This is a free version of my Coffee Cup Cozy Crochet Pattern. Continue reading for the instructions and the story behind this pattern.

If you’d prefer an ad-free, printable version of this pattern, you can purchase the PDF on Etsy. Every purchase helps support my business so I can continue creating patterns for crochet lovers like you!

This reusable cup cozy is quick and easy to make! Great for gift giving and keeping your hands protected from hot beverages. ♡ The stitch used for this pattern gives the cozy a soft, beautiful texture. It will be constructed by simply crocheting a rectangle and then seaming it together.

Want to make a pair of gloves to match your cozy? I also have a pattern for fingerless gloves that’s created using the same technique and materials. My Cozy Fingerless Gloves Crochet Pattern can be found here. [coming soon]

This pattern is made using Vanna’s Choice yarn by Lion Brand. I also love creating these cozies with Landscapes yarn by Lion Brand. Any worsted (weight 4) yarn will work perfectly fine, just be sure to check your gauge!

This pattern is made to fit standard coffee cups. You can adjust the size by simply crocheting more or less rows, or by using a larger/smaller crochet hook. Each cozy will not require much yarn. This pattern is perfect for using up leftover yarn from other projects. Make sure to subscribe to my blog for updates on new projects and patterns!
