Charisma infinity scarf, free crochet pattern by Noelebelle

This scarf is made with a bulky yarn that makes it warm and cozy. The ribbed-knit stitch gives it a soft, squishy texture and creates a seamless loop. It’s super fun to make, and a perfect beginner-friendly pattern for anyone looking for some relaxing crochet therapy.

Yarn:

This ribbed infinity scarf is made using Charisma yarn by Loops & Threads. You can easily adjust the length of your scarf, but I’ve found that two whole skeins of Charisma yarn is the perfect amount for one cozy infinity scarf. A good substitute for this yarn is Bernat Softee Chunky.

Any bulky yarn will work perfectly fine, the trick is using a larger crochet hook to make your stitches softer and make your scarf chunkier. The bulky yarn helps it works up quickly, making this a great pattern for creating handmade holiday gifts that everyone will love! Who doesn’t want a soft, chunky infinity scarf to make their winter a little cozier?

Notes:

  • This is an easy/beginner level crochet pattern
  • Pattern written in US crochet terms
  • The stitch count at the end of each row is shown in parenthesis ( )
  • The ch 1 at the beginning of each row does not count as a stitch.
  • Your finished scarf should be about 72″ long, however, you can always adjust the length if you prefer longer or shorter infinity loops.
  • Using Charisma yarn by Loops & Threads, I typically just continue adding rows until I’ve used up 2 balls of yarn, leaving enough yardage at the end to seam the scarf together.
  • A good substitute for this yarn is Bernat Softee Chunky (super bulky, weight 6).

Repeat ROW 2 until your scarf measures about 72″ long (or 36″ folded in half).
